Lana Red: se ancora non la conoscete dovete assolutamente recuperare. Il mondo di Lana è colorato, creativo e raffinato e parla di DIY ( uno più bello dell'altro!), ma anche di food, viaggi e styling: insomma una creativa a 360°, proprio come piace a me. Non potevamo non sentirci in sintonia... poi ha i capelli rossi, come me ora ;)
Ecco la sua intervista per la Bombetta.

1) Come è nata la tua passione per l'interior design e la creatività in generale? How and when was your passion for interior design and creativity in general born? Sono sempre stata interessata alla creatività sin da quando ho memoria. Quando ero più giovane ridecoravo la mia stanza ogni volta che potevo, e sono sempre stata affascinata dal mondo dei tessuti e del fashion in generale.
I have always been focusing on creating things since I can remember. When I was younger I used to redecorate my room as often as I could and I was extremely interested in fashion and fabrics.
2) Cosa ti aspettavi quando hai aperto il blog? What did you expect when you started the blog?Ho aperto il blog durante la mia laurea in Design Teatrale. Durante gli studi ho realizzato che era difficile creare cose che avessero sempre un significato per i miei studi, ma che amavo creare anche solo per la gioia di farlo, sul blog tutto era decisamente più aperto e semplice. Ho deciso che non volevo scegliere tra questi due mondi così ho cominciato a gestire il mio blog la notte mentre di giorno studiavo.
I started my blog to create things during my theatre design bachelor. During that bachelor I realized that I had a hard time choosing between creating things with a meaning and a purpose for the theatre designs, and creating just-for-fun items because it is a shorter proces and a lot more approachable. I ended up deciding that I didn’t want to choose between these two worlds and started to set up my blog at nights while going to school during the day
3) Cosa non hai realizzato ancora e perchè? What didn’t you realize until now and why?
Non ho mai pensato di diventare una blogger. Ho iniziato per me stessa, per dare a me stessa la scusa di poter creare cose che mi piacevano. Ma le cose hanno cominciato a diventare veloci, interessanti e mi sono accorta che tante persone mi seguivano, erano interessate alla mia storia e a quello che creavo. Così avevo tutti questi lettori che che mi seguivano e che cercavano ispirazioni da me.
I never intended to be a blogger. I started the blog for myself, to give me that extra reason to keep creating things. But it started to become bigger pretty fast and I ended up realizing that a lot of people recognized my story and too, wanted to create things. I suddenly had all these readers that I could relate to and help inspire.
4) Cosa ti ispira? What is your inspiration?Tutto. So che non è la risposta migliore, ma posso sentirmi ispirata dalle cose più strane. Posso passeggiare in casa di qualcuno e innamorarmi del colore delle piastrelle e decidere così di farci qualcosa. O, per essere più pratici, avere bisogno di un cappotto o di spazio per organizzare. Il mio luogo d'elezione per ispirarmi resta comunque camminare, viaggiare. Anche i musei, la fotografia, i designers tessili mi sono di grande stimolo.
Everything. I know it’s not the best answer, but I can be inspired by the craziest of things. I can be walking past someones house and be in love with a tile colour and be inspired to do something with that. Or it can be more practical, like needing a new coat or storage space. Besides being in my own personal inspiration-land when walking outside, I also get my inspiration from museums, photography, textile designers and most of all traveling
5) Immaginati a fare quacos'altro... Imagine yourself doing something else … Questo è difficile, e ci penso spesso perchè davvero amo quello che faccio. Significa anche che il lavoro e i miei interessi personali spesso si mescolano e fondono così rapidamente che posso lavorare tutto il giorno, da quando mi sveglio a quando vado a dormire... e quando ho questi pensieri, e sento il bisogno di una pausa, proprio allora realizzo che anche mentre viaggio, mi manca tanto creare cose! Così so di non avere molta scelta: la verità è che non riesco proprio a immaginarmi fare qualcos'altro!
That is a tricky one, I often think about this, because I love what I do. But it also means that work and personal interests get mixed up very fast. Meaning that a workday (even though, it’s work I like) can be the entire day, from waking up to going back to bed. But when I have these feelings and I go away for a break, I realize that while traveling, I miss creating things so much! So, I don’t think it’s much of a choice, I truly cannot imagine myself doing something else:)
