Molti di quelli che hanno visto le stories su Instagram e la foto dell'unboxing al ritorno da Stoccolma mi hanno chiesto cosa avrei realizzato con quel bel bottino di centrini che ho acquistato in uno dei tipici Loppis svedesi.
Era un progetto che avevo in mente da tempo ma i centrini che avevo a casa, recuperati in giro o tesori di famiglia, erano soprattutto bianchi o ecrù, mentre io volevo comporre un runner che avesse tutti i colori dell'arcobaleno.
Many of those who saw the stories on Instagram and the photo of the unboxing when I came back from Stockholm asked me what I would have do with that nice booty of doilies I bought in one of the typical Swedish Loppis.
It was a project I had in mind for a long time, but the doilies I had at home, recovered around or family treasures, were mostly white or ecru, while I wanted to compose a runner who had all the colors of the rainbow.

Dopo aver deciso la disposizione dei centrini ho applicato qualche goccia di colla per tessuti ed ho lasciato asciugare. Et voilà, il più semplice dei DIY per un runner romantico ma contemporaneo... adoro quei colori così brillanti!
After deciding the arrangement of the doilies I applied a few drops of fabric glue and let it dry. And voilà, the simplest DIY for a romantic but contemporary runner ... I love those brilliant colors!
