1) Come e quando è nata la tua passione per l'interior design?
Fin da piccolo ero affascinato dall'architettura e amavo costruire città con le mie costruzioni. Poi immaginavo come vivessero le persone dentro quelle case. In seguito, quando sono andato a vivere da solo, ho realizzato che l'interior era davvero importante per la mia felicità, mi faceva stare bene, così ho cominciato a decorare le mie case, e prima di tutto la mia stanza nella casa dello studente
1) How and when was born your passion in interior design?
My passion evolved over time from childhood. As a kid I remember beign fascinated by architecture and I loved bulding cities with my toy blocks. I then imagined how the people live in thir homes. Later on, when I started to live alone, I realized that interior design is quite important for my own happiness and well-being and I started styling and decorating my homes -even my room in the student's residence
2) Cosa ti aspettavi quando hai aperto il tuo blog?
Ho inaugurato Happy Interior Blog piuttosto tardi, nel 2011. Molti altri blogger allora erano già affermati. Le mie aspettative erano di entrare a far parte di una comunità di amanti del design, essere parte di essa con la mia casa digitale. Ecco come nasce il mio blog, dal desiderio di avere un luogo per collezionare e condividere tutto ciò che mi ispira e rende felice e così ispirare anche altri. La mia idea è di condividere qualcosa di bello ogni giorno per far sorridere i miei lettori.
2)What did you expect when you opened the blog?
I started Happy Interior Blog pretty late, it was back in 2011. Many other bloggers have already been pretty established and successfull at that time. My expectations were actually to be a part of a design loving community and I wanted to be a part of it with my very own digital home. That is how Happy Interior Blog came alive. I wanted to have a base to collect and share everything that inspires me for a happy home and thus to inspire others too. My idea is to share a bit of interior design happiness every day and make my readers smile!
3) Cosa non hai realizzato fino ad ora e perchè?
Il blog ha drammaticamente cambiato la mia vita di tutti i giorni. Non è solo fare fotografie e scrivere ma apre molte opportunità di scoprire il design da dietro le quinte. Per me ha significato anche viaggiare ancora di più - e io già ero un amante del viaggio - Ho dovuto imparare a organizzare molto meglio la mia vita di tutti i giorni anche per mio lavoro dietro il blog. Sono diventato una sorta di blog designer viaggiante. Quest' anno ho avuto solo un paio di fine settimana da trascorrere a casa! Ma è tutto così divertente e stimolante, adoro ogni minuto trascorso in questo modo e sono grato per le opportunità che ho!
3) What did not realize until now and why?
That blogging will dramatically changed my everyday lifestyle. It is not just taking photos and writing but it opens up so many opportunities and chances to discover the design world behind the scenes. For me it meant traveling even more ( and I am an avid traveller already) - I had to become way more organized in my daily life with my full-time job besides blogging. I have become a sort of travelling design blogger if you want so. This year alone I have only been two weekends at home so far. But it is all so much fun and so interesting- I enjoy every minute and I am greateful for all the opportunities I get!
4) Cosa ti ispira?
Prendo ispirazione dalla vita di tutti i giorni. Ma la mia fonte più grande restano i viaggi. Amo scoprire nuovi paesi e culture; cercare di viverle attraverso le loro lingue, le abitudini, inseguendo una prospettiva non da semplice turista. Mi inspirano le architetture, i colori, la musica, ma anche il cibo. Viaggiare è davvero una parte essenziale del mio fare blogging. E' anche la ragione per la quale ho creato un appuntamento il lunedì sul mio blog chiamato "From Place To Space".
Di recente ho anche lanciato una speciale serie su Instagram chiamata "Paris Love Facts" visto che sono un visitatore abituale della bella città francese, ho anche una casa proprio a Parigi. Condivido i miei suggerimenti e consigli per scoprirla, trovate tutto con l'hasthatg #happyparislovefacts
4) What is your inspirations?
I draw inspirations from daily life. But my main inspirations comes from travelling. I love to discover other countries, cultures, people. I like to emerge into the local cultures by speaking their languages, experiencing their lives from a non-tourist perspective. Plus I am majorly inspired by architecture, colours, costumes, music, dwelling and food from other countries so that I consider travelling an essential part of my blogging. This is also the reason why I've introduce a travel focused blog called "From Place To Space" every Monday on my blog. And recently I've launched a special Instagram series called "Paris Love Facts" because I'm a regular Paris traveler, in fact I have a second home there. I share all my Paris travel tips trough the Instagram hasthtag #happyparislovefacts
5) Immagina te stesso fare qualcos' altro ...
Mi immagino come una specie di Indiana Jones. Ho amato l'archeologia sin da quando ero bambino. Viaggerei per tutto il mondo scoprendo tesori e antiche culture. Forse sarà anche per questo che ho deciso di studiare in Grecia ...
5)Imagine yourself doing something else...
I'd be a modern version of Indiana Jones, I've loved archeaology ever since my childhood. I'd be traveling to amazing places and discover ancient cultures. I guess this was the secret reason why I went to Greece to study there.
